Chelsea playmaker Hakim Ziyech is reportedly pushing to leave the club and join AC Milan this summer.
The 29-year-old has spent the last two years at Stamford Bridge since making his £36m switch from Ajax, but he has struggled to nail down a regular place in the starting lineup.
Ziyech has started only 27 of his 46 Premier League appearances, including only 14 last season, and has contributed to only six goals and six assists in the English top flight.
The Morocco international, who has scored a total of 14 times in 83 games across all tournaments for the Blues, is now believed to be considering his options ahead of a proposed exit from the West Londoners this summer.
Serie A champions Milan have expressed their interest in signing Ziyech, with one report claiming that they have re-opened talks with Chelsea to discuss the player's availability.
According to Calciomercato, Milan chiefs Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are 'in love' with Ziyech and they reaffirmed their concrete interest in the playmaker during negotiations with Chelsea.
The report adds that Ziyech is aware of Milan's interest in his services and the Moroccan now has his eyes set on completing a permanent move to San Siro.
Furthermore, Ziyech does not see a future for himself at Chelsea, with the report claiming that it will not be possible for him to "heal the rift" that he has with head coach Thomas Tuchel.
Milan are also working on a deal to sign Club Brugge forward Charles De Ketelaere for a fee believed to be in excess of £20m, and it is thought that a move for the Belgian will have no bearing on their pursuit of Ziyech.
Ziyech, who has also been linked with Manchester United, is allegedly not the only Chelsea player who is keen to leave the club this summer, as one report claims that he is one of five first-team stars who are seeking pastures new.
Spanish duo Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso are both keen to join Catalan giants Barcelona, who have held an interest in the defenders throughout this summer.
Both Azpilicueta and Alonso are both at risk of leaving Chelsea for free when their contracts expire in June 2023, leaving the Blues with a dilemma as to whether they should cash in on the pair this summer or delay their decision until January.
Timo Werner is another who has recently been linked with a summer exit, with one report claiming that the 26-year-old is likely to leave the club amid interest from Juventus and former club RB Leipzig.
USA international Christian Pulisic may also be on the move as his place in the starting lineup could come under threat following the big-money arrival of Raheem Sterling.
Chelsea have already allowed Romelu Lukaku to re-join Inter Milan on a season-long loan deal, while Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen have left the club upon the expiration of their contracts and have joined Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively. body check tags ::
