Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane could reportedly decide to sign a new contract with the club next summer.
Having entered the final 12 months of his contract, Kane's Tottenham future is the centre of widespread speculation.
Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have all been linked with the England captain, while Bayern Munich are the club that appear to be pushing hardest to secure his signature.
Bayern board member Uli Hoeness recently stated that he was confident that the club could lure Kane to the Bundesliga this summer.
The German champions have allegedly had two bids rejected by Tottenham, who are keen to retain the services of their all-time record scorer.
With Kane reluctant to sign a new contract this summer, Spurs are running the risk of losing their most prized asset for nothing in June 2024.
However, according to ESPN, the 30-year-old could still commit to a new deal towards the end of next season if they enjoy a successful campaign under newly-appointed boss Ange Postecoglou.
The report does claim that there is a possibility that Kane could leave this summer, but he is not intending to force a departure.
The striker will only consider leaving the North London club if they reach an agreement over a transfer with a prospective buyer.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is determined to fend off potential suitors and it would take an offer in the region of £100m for him to even consider selling the Englishman.
Kane is currently away with the Tottenham squad on their pre-season tour of the Asia-Pacific region, which began with a 3-2 defeat in Postecoglou's native Australia.
The Tottenham boss has made it clear that he is currently planning to have Kane in his squad for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
After playing the first half of Tuesday's loss to West Ham, Kane will be hoping to gain more valuable minutes when Spurs face Leicester City in Bangkok on Sunday. body check tags ::
