Leicester City defender Harry Maguire is reportedly still hoping for a move to Manchester United before the end of the transfer window on Thursday.
Maguire has been linked with a move to Old Trafford since his World Cup heroics earlier this summer, in which he played an instrumental role in England's journey to the semi-finals in Russia.
Leicester were widely reported to be holding out for £60m for the former Hull City centre-back, while Foxes boss Claude Puel told reporters on Tuesday that the player must stay at the club.
According to Sky Sports News, Maguire is still hopeful that he can secure a move to United ahead of the new season.
The Red Devils play Maguire's current side in the opening Premier League fixture on Friday night.
