Javier Hernandez has left Manchester United to join Real Madrid on loan.
The Mexican moved to United from Guadalajara in 2010 and hit double figures during his first season.
The 26-year-old struggled for form last season, however, and has been deemed surplus to requirements by new United boss Louis van Gaal after failing to impress in the early weeks of the new campaign.
"Real Madrid and Manchester United have agreed season loan of Javier Hernandez Chicharito, with deal inc option to buy," read a statement from the Spanish club.
Hernandez will become the fourth Mexican to represent Los Blancos.
