Manchester United are reportedly willing to drop their asking price for Marcus Rashford, with the attacker potentially leaving Old Trafford during this summer's transfer window.
Rashford could meet with Man United's new sporting director Dan Ashworth next week to discuss his future amid claims that Paris Saint-Germain are lining up a summer offer.
Having missed out on a spot in the England squad for Euro 2024, the 26-year-old is due to return to Man United's Carrington training complex on Monday for the start of pre-season.
However, there is huge uncertainty surrounding his future, with the forward struggling for form during the 2023-24 campaign, managing only eight goals and five assists in 43 appearances.
PSG are believed to be considering making a move for the Englishman this summer, as the capital giants are facing the difficult task of replacing Kylian Mbappe, who has joined Real Madrid on a free transfer.
Man United 'willing' to accept £60m for Rashford
According to The Sun, Rashford's relationship with Man United head coach Erik ten Hag broke down last season due to a couple of standout off-the-field incidents.
The forward was disciplined last October when he attended a birthday party just hours after the team had suffered a defeat to Manchester City in the Manchester derby.
Rashford then received a £650,000 fine in the early stages of this year when he visited a nightclub in Dublin on two separate evenings and then called in sick for training before his team's FA Cup clash with Newport County.
Man United are believed to have placed a valuation of £80m on Rashford, but the Red Devils would allegedly be willing to let him leave for around £60m.
The 20-time English champions are unlikely to be prepared to sell the forward to another Premier League club, and there are not too many teams around Europe that would be able to sign Rashford this summer.
Will Rashford leave Man United this summer?
PSG are one of those that can, though, and the French giants have money to spend, as they are making huge savings following Mbappe's switch to Real Madrid.
Rashford scored 30 goals and registered 10 assists in 56 appearances at club level during the 2022-23 campaign, which led to him signing a new lucrative contract.
However, he cut a frustrated figure both on and off the field last season, and it would not be a shock if Rashford did leave Old Trafford during the summer transfer window.
For the moment, Rashford will be preparing to return to Carrington for the start of pre-season, but there are likely to be some difficult conversations in the coming days.
The Red Devils academy product is believed to be determined to reignite his career at Old Trafford, but it might be best for all parties if he leaves during the summer transfer window. body check tags ::
