Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has denied having any knowledge of his club's reported interest in Manchester United forward Dimitar Berbatov.
Berbatov is understood to be available for a fee of £5m this summer and Loftus Road has been touted as a possible destination for the 31-year-old Bulgarian.
"There are a lot of names flying around," Hughes told Sky Sports News. "That is a new one on me, in fairness.
"At this time of year, there are a lot of names flying around. But we prefer to get the job done, get the business done, and then we announce it."
Berbatov scored nine goals in 21 appearances for the Red Devils last season.
