Shanghai Shenhua have reportedly offered Odion Ighalo a two-year contract extension worth £400,000 a week.
The 30-year-old joined Manchester United on loan during the January transfer window and has been in impressive form for the Red Devils, scoring four times in eight appearances in all competitions.
As it stands, Ighalo has a contract with his parent club until December 2022, but according to Sky Sports News, the experienced striker has been offered an extension until December 2024 worth £400,000 a week.
The Nigeria international's loan deal with United is due to expire at the end of May, although it could reportedly be extended until June 30 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The 20-time English champions are also allegedly weighing up the possibility of signing the former Watford forward on a permanent deal this summer.
The Red Devils moved for Ighalo in January after Marcus Rashford's back injury left them short of options in the final third of the field.
