Manchester United will reportedly be able to extend Odion Ighalo's loan period by an extra four weeks.
As it stands, Shanghai Shenhua are allowing Ighalo to remain at Old Trafford until May 31 - a date which was initially due to come after the end of the season.
However, as a result of schedules being suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak, it is extremely likely that many games will still need to be played heading into the summer months.
According to Sky Sports News, United will be able to extend Ighalo's stay at the club until June 30.
Although Shanghai want the Nigerian to return to China at the conclusion of his temporary period, United have the option to push through a permanent deal.
The 30-year-old has contributed four goals from three starts and five substitute outings for the English giants.
