Inter Milan are reportedly lining up a player-plus-cash swap deal for Manchester United forward Anthony Martial.
The Italian giants are known to be long-term admirers of Martial and have renewed their interest as a result of his good form since the return from lockdown, most recently scoring one and creating another in Monday night's 2-2 draw with Southampton.
Inter are aware that United would be reluctant to sell the 24-year-old off the back of the most prolific season of his career, but Calciomercato claims that they hope to tempt the Red Devils to the negotiating table by including a player they want in return.
United are understood to have identified Milan Skriniar as a possible defensive reinforcement, with some reports suggesting they have already lodged a bid for the Slovakian.
Inter are increasingly willing to cash in on the centre-back, who has also been linked to Manchester City, and could include the 25-year-old in any deal to take Martial in the opposite direction.
The report claims that Inter value Martial at £63m and Skriniar at £58m, so they would make up the £5m difference in cash as part of the agreement.
Martial has had a direct hand in 29 goals from 41 appearances for United this season, scoring 21 and assisting eight.
