Jadon Sancho has allegedly purchased a £3.8m mansion in Greater Manchester, with the forward seemingly preparing to be back with Manchester United next season.
The 24-year-old returned to Borussia Dortmund on loan in January, and he is currently preparing to represent the German outfit in the Champions League final against Real Madrid.
Sancho's loan deal in Dortmund will expire this summer, though, and as it stands, he will be heading back to the 20-time English champions for the 2024-25 campaign.
BVB are keen on a permanent return for the Englishman, but Man United are believed to be asking for as much as £50m, which could potentially price the Bundesliga side out of a deal.
According to The Sun, Sancho has purchased a five-bed mansion near the home of Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag, with the forward seemingly dropping a hint over his future.
Sancho 'hints at Man United return this summer'
Sancho had a high-profile falling-out with Ten Hag earlier this season, which led to the attacker being removed from the first-team picture at Old Trafford.
The ex-Manchester City youngster was a substitute in Man United's first three matches of the 2023-24 Premier League campaign before being left out entirely against Arsenal at the start of September.
Ten Hag said that poor performances on the training ground had seen Sancho removed from the squad, but the Englishman insisted that was not the case, effectively branding his manager a liar.
The relationship between the two was unable to be repaired, with Sancho allegedly refusing to apologise, which led to him returning to Dortmund on loan during the January market.
How will the situation play out this summer?
Man United have Sancho on a contract until June 2026, so they are in a strong position when it comes to his future, and a cut-price exit will not be sanctioned this summer.
Sancho has managed three goals and three assists in 20 appearances for BVB since his return, particularly impressing against Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
The forward has largely struggled during his time at Man United, though, only contributing 12 goals and six assists in 82 appearances in all competitions.
It is difficult to see Sancho playing under Ten Hag again, but if the Dutchman loses his job at Old Trafford this summer, which is certainly a possibility, then a return could be on the cards.
The outcome will also depend on Dortmund's willingness to meet Man United's asking price, so there remains huge uncertainty surrounding Sancho's future heading towards the summer market. body check tags ::
