Leicester City midfielder James Maddison is allegedly interested in a summer move to Manchester United.
Maddison was a huge success during his first campaign at the King Power Stadium, contributing seven goals and seven assists from his 36 outings in the Premier League.
However, it appears that the Foxes may receive bids for the 22-year-old's signature this summer at a time when he is moving closer to international recognition with England.
Journalist Ian McGarry told The Transfer Window Podcast: "Maddison is a very considered, intelligent young man who cares much more for his career than he does about money and standing and getting to a club that can give him some kind of platform but not backing it up with playing time.
"This is a guy who started 36 of 38 league games last season for Leicester City. He had the most chances created in the Premier League above any player - 100 exactly - also with impressive assists and goals as well.
"So he has basically told his representatives, who are talking to Manchester United, 'I want to be left alone to focus on England during the next couple of weeks for the European Championships.
"However, please tell Manchester United that I would like to meet with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and see him face-to-face and ask him what my role would be, what my influence would be in terms of how much game time I would have, and where he would be playing me in terms of position, as well as who I would expect to be playing with."
Leicester also face a fight to keep hold of Harry Maguire, who is said to be a target for both United and Manchester City.
