Falkenberg attacker Jesper Karlsson has said that it is "fun" to be linked with a move to Manchester United.
The 18-year-old has broken into the first-team set-up at his Swedish club this season and has netted eight times in 27 appearances for a team that are rooted to the bottom of the Swedish top flight.
It is understood that Man United have scouted Karlsson in recent weeks and the teenager, who has been compared to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has welcomed the speculation.
"It is of course fun. But I cannot do anything more than to just do my best and go out and perform. The check happened and they think I'm good, it's just a plus," Karlsson told Aftonbladet. "I do not want to speculate on that now as follows right after, but we'll see how it goes in the future."
Karlsson is contracted to his current club until the summer of 2018.
