Feyenoord midfielder Jordy Clasie looks poised to sign for FC Porto, as the president of the Dutch club has confirmed the player's impending departure.
Clasie has been linked with a move to both Manchester United and Southampton this summer, but the Dutch side had been adamant that a move would not happen.
"Jordy is very happy at Feyenoord and we have no intention of selling him," president Ron Smit told De Telegraaf in June.
"A transfer is not really a must for him. I don't expect too much to happen around him. We are willing to go the extra mile to hold on to him and the rest of the team."
However, despite Smit's reassurance, it looks as though Feyenoord have changed their stance and are about to sell the player to Portuguese giants Porto, as the president announced via Twitter.
"Worst news: Clasie sold to Porto for nine million."
