Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has claimed that he is "counting on" Paul Pogba for the new season.
The France international has been strongly linked with a return to Manchester United in recent weeks, with the Red Devils believed to be prepared to offer a world-record £100m for their former midfielder.
However, Allegri has attempted to end the speculation surrounding Pogba's future by claiming that the 23-year-old will return to the Italian champions for pre-season training on August 7.
"The France internationals will return on August 7. Both [Patrice] Evra and Pogba? They are both Juventus players and I hope they will stay. I am counting on Pogba," Allegri told reporters.
Pogba is currently on holiday after helping France reach the final of Euro 2016.
