Juventus have reportedly been in contact with Manchester United over Paul Pogba to test the waters before making a formal offer for the midfielder.
The France international's future beyond this summer is in doubt after being strongly linked with the Old Trafford exit over the past 12 months.
Pogba has openly admitted that he would be keen on a switch to Madrid to play under compatriot Zinedine Zidane, while former club Juventus have also been tipped to make a move.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Juve have made an initial enquiry to United over their chances of bringing the 26-year-old back to Turin and are hoping for a swift decision from the Red Devils.
Pogba, who won four Serie A titles and two Coppas Italia during his four-year spell with the Bianconeri, contributed 13 goals and nine assists for United in the Premier League last season.
