Juventus are reportedly working to sign Adrien Rabiot to a new contract, with the club aware of the interest in the midfielder from the Premier League in the shape of Arsenal and Manchester United.
The 28-year-old was heavily linked with a move away from the Old Lady last summer, but he ultimately penned a one-year extension until June 2024.
There is again speculation surrounding the France international's future, as he will be able to speak to foreign clubs in January over the possibility of a pre-contract.
Arsenal are said to be planning to move for the midfielder at the start of 2024, with Gunners head coach Mikel Arteta believed to be a huge admirer of his talents.
Man United, meanwhile, are said to still be keen on a player who they were linked with last summer before switching their attention to Casemiro.
Rabiot's wage demands are said to have scuppered a move to Old Trafford last year, but the 20-time English champions are still said to be interested in his signature.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus will meet with the midfielder's mother and agent Veronique in November in the hope of coming to an agreement over a three-year deal.
The report claims that the Italian giants fear the interest from the Premier League, so they are determined to extend his contract before the end of the year.
Rabiot made the move to Juventus on a free transfer in July 2019 following the expiration of his deal at Paris Saint-Germain.
The midfielder has featured on 184 occasions for the Turin giants, scoring 18 goals and registering 14 assists, and he has been in strong form at the start of this season.
Rabiot has scored once and provided two assists in seven Serie A appearances during the 2023-24 campaign, while he has been named in the latest France squad.
Arsenal are believed to view the Frenchman as the ideal replacement for Jorginho, although the London club would have to come to an agreement with Juventus to sign Rabiot in January.
Man United are currently well-stocked in central midfield, but the Red Devils are thought to be planning to bring in at least one more player in that area of the field next year.
Rabiot won five Ligue 1 titles during his time at PSG, while he also helped Juventus win the Serie A championship in 2019-20. body check tags ::
