England captain Harry Kane will reportedly sit down with Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season before making any decision on his future.

The 29-year-old has entered the final 18 months of his contract with Spurs, and there is again widespread speculation surrounding a possible move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Manchester United are said to be keen to explore the possibility of signing Kane this summer, while Bayern Munich are also thought to view him as the ideal replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who left Allianz Arena last year to make the move to Barcelona.

Tottenham's chances of landing silverware this season evaporated on Wednesday night, when they were knocked out of the Champions League in the round of 16 by AC Milan.

Antonio Conte's side also face a battle to finish in the top four in the Premier League table this season, currently sitting just three points ahead of fifth-placed Liverpool, who have a game in hand.

Bayern honorary president Uli Hoeness recently talked-up a summer move for Kane, telling Sky Deutschland: "I can imagine that one day a player would go to FC Bayern is coming, which can cost around €100m (£88.3m), but I gave my opinion specifically on the Kane case.

"He's almost 30 years old and last year Tottenham rejected Manchester City's €160m (£141.3m) offer, so I said in this case, it would be awesome if FC Bayern approached such a transfer."

Meanwhile, Man United are thought to be becoming increasingly confident of their chances of signing Kane this summer despite Tottenham's desire not to sell to a domestic rival.

According to the Daily Mail, Kane is not prepared to rush a decision on his future, and he will instead hold talks with Tottenham this summer before a final decision is made.

The report claims that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy would not be prepared to listen to offers of under £100m for Kane, while the price could be even higher for domestic clubs.

The England international is believed to be open to moving to Man United, with the Red Devils showing signs of progress this season under new head coach Erik ten Hag.

Kane has struggled to show his best form for periods of this season, but he has still managed 20 goals and four assists in 37 appearances in all competitions.

The centre-forward recently became Tottenham's all-time leading goalscorer, and he now sits on 268 goals in 423 appearances for the North London outfit.

Meanwhile, Kane is chasing down Alan Shearer's all-time scoring record in the Premier League, with the former currently third on the list with 201, 59 behind Shearer. body check tags ::
