Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze.

The 26-year-old has gone from strength to strength since making the switch from Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers during the summer of 2020.

Eze made Gareth Southgate's squad for Euro 2024 in Germany, although he was unable to cement a place ahead of Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka in the attacking lines.

That being said, the Palace man has already played 13 minutes for the Three Lions at the start of the Lee Carsley era during a win over the Republic of Ireland on Saturday.

Focusing on club matters, Eze has made a steady start to life in the 2024-25 Premier League, scoring one goal from three top-flight appearances.

Man United 'keen' on Palace's Eze

According to the Manchester Evening News, Eze could be making a high-profile switch across Premier League battlelines during the upcoming transfer windows.

The report claims that Manchester United are one of the clubs who are interested in securing the services of the Eagles star next calendar year.

It is understood that the Red Devils are keen to bolster their attacking ranks further following the arrival of Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna over the summer.

With his contract at Selhurst Park expiring during the summer of 2027, Crystal Palace are in a good position to drive a hard bargain for the attacker.

However, it is believed that Eze's £68m release clause will re-activate at the conclusion of the 2024-25 season, meaning that Man United could swoop in and secure a deal.

The next step for Eze

During the 2023-24 campaign, Eze shone under the new leadership of Oliver Glasner at Crystal Palace, scoring 11 goals and providing six assists across 31 games.

Over the summer, the 26-year-old has seen fellow forward player Michael Olise secure a £50m switch to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, since cementing a place in the France national team.

Eze will be aiming for similar success on the international stage as Olise, with a move to a club competing in Europe, such as Man United, potentially helping the former QPR attacker's case. body check tags ::
