Midfielder Koke has reportedly extended his contract with Atletico Madrid.
It is believed that the 22-year-old only signed a new deal back in September, which contained a release clause worth in the region of £20m.
However, amid speculation that Manchester United were keen to recruit the Spanish international, Atletico have tied him down on fresh terms until the summer of 2018, with a buyout option that has risen to around £55m, according to Marca.
Koke has made 19 La Liga appearances this term, in which he has scored four goals and laid on eight assists.
