Goalkeeper Lee Grant is reportedly expected to be handed a new contract at Manchester United.
The veteran stopper has made just two appearances for United since his arrival in 2018, both of which have come in cup competitions.
After Sergio Romero's departure in January, the 38-year-old is now regarded as third choice behind David de Gea and Dean Henderson.
Despite there being no prospect of Grant breaking into the first-team picture on a regular basis, the Daily Star says that the former Derby County and Burnley stopper is likely to extend his stay at Old Trafford.
The report claims that that Grant is in line to become a player-coach at United, providing that he does not choose to leave the Premier League giants in the summer.
Grant's last outing for United came against Astana in the Europa League in November 2019.
