Leeds United have reportedly made an offer for Sunderland teenager Joe Hugill.
The 16-year-old is yet to make his first-team debut for the Black Cats but has scored twice in three appearances for their Under-23 side during the 2019-20 campaign.
Manchester United have been strongly linked with the teenager in recent days, and it is thought that the Red Devils already have an agreement in place for the striker.
However, according to Football Insider, Leeds have also submitted an offer for the Sunderland youngster, who has been scouted by the Championship outfit during the current season.
The Whites will allegedly lose out to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, though, with the Premier League team seemingly beating a host of clubs, including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, to a deal.
Hugill, who stands at 6ft 2in, netted a brace on his Premier League 2 debut against West Ham United's Under-23 side at the start of February.
