Leicester City are reportedly open to letting Danny Drinkwater join Manchester United in January if they can lure Morgan Schneiderlin to the King Power Stadium as part of the deal.
The England international has been heavily linked with a return to his former club in recent weeks as Jose Mourinho aims to balance out his midfield ranks.
Drinkwater, an integral part of Leicester's incredible Premier League title success last season, is said to be eager to join the Red Devils but will not push through a move out of respect for his current side.
According to The Mirror, however, Leicester will only be willing to let the 26-year-old depart should Schneiderlin - used just once in the league this season - head in the opposite direction, with a cash sum also likely to be included.
Schneiderlin failed to make United's squad for their victory over Leicester on Saturday, while Drinkwater has been ever-present for the champions so far.
