Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski has tipped Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland to "be the best striker in the world", amid speculation around the future of the Norwegian.
Haaland became the quickest player to reach 20 Champions League goals earlier this season, reaching that landmark in just 14 games - 10 fewer appearances than previous record-holder Harry Kane.
The 20-year-old's goalscoring exploits have impressed many top European clubs and he is the subject of interest from Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea, among others.
Lewandowski told CBS Sports: "He's a great player. He has huge potential and he's still very young. If I see his face and how hungry he is to score goals. In the future, he has a chance to be the best striker in the world, for sure.
"But sometimes when everything is going well, it's really not easy. But if you see him, he has scored so many goals and he's so young."
It is believed that Dortmund value the youngster at £150m, potentially pricing out some of the clubs interested in purchasing the goalscorer.
Haaland has 33 goals in as many games for his club this season and still has three years left on his contract at Signal Iduna Park. body check tags ::
