Premier League trio Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United are all reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich this summer.
The 28-year-old has established himself as an integral player for the German giants since joining from RB Leipzig in 2015, contributing with 40 goals and 94 assists in 347 appearances across all tournaments.
Kimmich has gradually morphed from a right-back into a highly sought-after midfielder during his career, and he was a mainstay in the Bayern first team last season, starting 45 of his 46 games.
Although the eight-time Bundesliga winner has two years remaining on his contract at the Allianz Arena, there has been speculation over a potential exit from the Bavarian giants this summer.
Recent reports in Germany have suggested that Bayern could be open to offers for Kimmich which is understood to have alerted a number of top European clubs.
Kimmich recently revealed that he expects to remain in Bavaria this summer, though, telling Sky Deutschland: "I am quite sure that I will play for Bayern next season. I have no other plans!"
However, according to Fichajes, Liverpool, Man City and Man United have all 'set their sights' on luring the Germany international away from Bayern.
The report adds that all three English clubs are expected to begin the process of sending over their first proposals to Bayern in the 'coming days' in an attempt to win the race for his signature.
Treble winners Man City are said to have shown a clear interest in Kimmich after pulling out of the race to sign Declan Rice earlier this summer, with Pep Guardiola exploring the market for a new versatile midfielder.
Guardiola signed Kimmich at Bayern and managed him in the 2015-16 season before joining the Citizens, who were recently described by the midfielder as the best team in Europe.
"Man City can be considered the number one club in Europe. It is a great opportunity to play against such a club," Kimmich said, as quoted by writer Rich Fray, ahead of Bayern's friendly clash with the English champions in Tokyo on Wednesday.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are undergoing a significant midfield refresh this summer having already seen James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita all depart the club, while Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara have also been tipped to leave.
Jurgen Klopp has bolstered his ranks with the additions of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, but the German boss is still after new midfielders, with Kimmich said to be on the Reds' radar.
As for Man United, Erik ten Hag has already lured Mason Mount away from Chelsea this summer, but the Red Devils manager is said to be in the market for a defensive midfielder.
Fichajes claims that Kimmich has emerged as a 'primary target' for Man United, who are also understood to have stepped up their pursuit of Fiorentina and Morocco lynchpin Sofyan Amrabat and Atalanta BC striker Rasmus Hojlund.
