Premier League champions Liverpool are not interested in adding Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish to their squad, according to reports.
Grealish has been a standout player for Dean Smith's side in recent seasons and his performances have caught the attention of several top clubs in the Premier League.
Both Manchester United and Manchester City could approach Villa in January for the 25-year-old, but the Liverpool Echo insists that the Reds have no interest in signing Grealish.
Birmingham Live also reports that Grealish, who only signed a new long-term contract at Villa a few months ago, will not be leaving the club this season or potentially the next.
The Manchester giants may want to test Villa's resolve next month, but it seems clear that the Claret and Blue outfit are looking to build around their talisman and improve a squad which has moved into the top half of the Premier League after an impressive 2020-21 campaign.
Grealish, who has five goals and seven assists this season, has also impressed England boss Gareth Southgate, who has handed the midfielder five senior appearances.
