Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly do battle for the signature of Lyon forward and Manchester United flop Memphis Depay in the summer transfer window.
The Dutchman joined United in May 2015 amid a wave of excitement, only to leave 18 months later after managing just seven goals in all competitions.
However, following an impressive resurgence at Lyon, Memphis has insisted that he would be open to returning to the Premier League.
According to the Daily Express, both Spurs and Liverpool are keen on signing the forward over the summer.
Reports have previously claimed that the North London club was lining up a bid worth £50m for Memphis, who has scored 11 goals this season.
Liverpool, on the other hand, are expected to bolster their attack in the summer window having made no major signings ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
