Thiago Alcantara has denied asking to leave Bayern Munich amid speculation that he could move to Liverpool this summer.
The 29-year-old is expected to move away from the European champions during the current transfer window, despite playing an integral role in Bayern winning the treble last season.
Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and manager Hansi Flick have both publicly declared that Thiago wants to leave the Allianz Arena, but now the player himself has denied putting in a transfer request.
"I have not told anyone that I'm leaving," Thiag told reporters ahead of Spain's Nations League match against Ukraine.
"Every year you put me at a different club. For me, my future is tomorrow's game and there is nothing more to say.
"I neither care nor am I interested. What interests me is tomorrow."
Liverpool are understood to be leading the race for Thiago, while Premier League rivals Manchester United have also been credited with an interest.
