Liverpool are reportedly not willing to fork out the £120m figure set by Borussia Dortmund for winger Jadon Sancho.
The 20-year-old has become one of the most sought-after prospects in Europe following his performances for Lucien Favre's side this season, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United all reported to be in the race for the attacker.
Sancho has contributed 14 goals and 16 assists in the Bundesliga during the 2019-20 campaign, although Jurgen Klopp's side could reportedly be priced out of a move for the England international.
According to The Express, Liverpool's owners Fenway Sports Group are reluctant to meet Dortmund's asking price with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane already among the ranks at Anfield.
The pair had chalked up a combined 30 goals and 15 assists in the Premier League prior to the coronavirus suspension, and recent reports have also suggested that Sancho desires a move to Old Trafford.
The winger's current deal at the Westfalenstadion is set to expire in 2022.
