Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has reportedly agreed to sign a new five-year contract at Old Trafford.
Shaw struggled for a place in the United starting lineup last season, while the 23-year-old has previously been criticised by manager Jose Mourinho.
However, the left-back has impressed for United this campaign - and received praise from Mourinho - and according to Sky Sports News, that has resulted in the club moving to extend the player's stay in the North-West.
Shaw's current deal had been due to expire in 2019 and there was a time when the former Southampton man appeared destined to move elsewhere, but it appears that the decision has been made to commit his future to United until 2023.
The full-back has made nine starts in the Premier League and Champions League this season, taking his overall tally for United to 75 outings in all competitions.
