Manchester City have reportedly identified Red Bull Salzburg forward Erling Braut Haaland as a potential future signing.
After scoring a hat-trick for the Austrian giants against Genk in the Champions League last month, Haaland is attracting interest from a number of top European clubs.
Despite the youngster insisting that he will remain with his current club until the summer, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Juventus have all been linked with the Norway international over the past few weeks.
According to The Sun, City have also had scouts present to monitor the development of the 19-year-old.
The report claims that representatives of the Premier League champions were present when Salzburg faced Liverpool at Anfield earlier this month.
Haaland still has just under four years remaining on his contract, leaving Salzburg in a strong position regarding his immediate future.
