Juventus are reportedly looking to offload two midfielders to the Manchester clubs as part of a strategy to raise funds for reinvestment in other areas of their squad.

I Bianconeri have faced significant injury setbacks this season with Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal both suffering ACL tears, while Arkadiusz Milik is also sidelined following two surgeries on his left knee.

The Serie A giants may look to target two new defenders in the winter transfer window, or alternatively, they could opt for a defender and a striker if Milik's recovery from knee surgery takes longer than expected

Both Manchester United and Manchester City are preparing for the January transfer window, with United linked to several players partly due to Ruben Amorim's recent appointment at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, City's interest in new signings is heightened by Rodri's serious knee injury, which has left them needing to bolster their squad.

Juventus looking to offload Luiz and Fagioli

Juventus visited England for a Champions League match against Aston Villa, which ended in a 0-0 draw at Villa Park in midweek.

However, the club's senior executive Cristiano Giuntoli reportedly arrived a few days earlier to explore potential business opportunities, using the trip to engage in possible transfer discussions.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Giuntoli was in Manchester on Sunday to meet with officials from both Man United and Man City to explore potential transfer deals for midfielders Douglas Luiz and Nicolo Fagioli.

The report adds that Juve are pricing Fagioli between £16m to £20m, while there is no clear valuation on Luiz, only that they would require a "satisfactory offer" for a player they signed for £41.6m just five months ago.

There is no confirmation whether the proposals made by Giuntoli were met with any reciprocal interest by the either Manchester club.

Potential January transfer targets for Juventus

Juventus are believed to be interested in Paris Saint-Germain's Milan Skriniar and Benfica's Antonio Silva as potential defensive reinforcements.

In attack, it is understood that they may target Man United's Joshua Zirkzee, a player admired by Thiago Motta from their time at Bologna.

Another player who has been linked with a move to Turin is Bayern Leverkusen attacker Patrik Schick, who has struggled for consistent starting time with the Bundesliga champions.

Reports this week suggested that the Czech international is willing to leave in January if he is not assured a more prominent role in the team.
