Manchester United and Sevilla have reportedly struck an agreement over a loan deal for Anthony Martial.
The former Monaco starlet has struggled for regular action with the Red Devils this term and had a well-documented desire to head elsewhere during the January transfer window.
Sevilla were originally reported to be the frontrunners for Martial's signature, although Julen Lopetegui's side were thought to have pulled the plug on a potential move due to the Frenchman's wages.
However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano now reports that a deal has been reached for Martial to spend the remainder of the 2021-22 season on loan at the La Liga club.
Romano adds that Sevilla will fork out the entirety of Martial's £150k-a-week wages during his time at the club, and Man United will pocket £5m for the loan.
The 26-year-old is expected to finalise his switch to Los Palanganas in the coming days, but the deal is not believed to include an option or obligation to buy.
Martial has just one goal to his name from 11 appearances this season and came off the bench as a late substitute in the weekend's 1-0 win over West Ham United. body check tags ::
