Juventus have reportedly submitted a £75m offer for Ajax centre-back Matthijs de Ligt as the Italian champions look to sign the Netherlands international from under the noses of Manchester United and Barcelona.
De Ligt continues to be linked with a move away from Ajax, having starred for the Dutch giants during their double-winning 2018-19 campaign.
United and Barca were believed to be in a head-to-head battle for the 19-year-old, who is expected to make a decision on his future this week.
However, according to Tuttosport, Juve have now made a £75m offer, with the Old Lady determined to win the race for the teenage centre-back.
De Ligt, who has a contract in Amsterdam until June 2021, scored seven times and contributed four assists in 55 appearances for Ajax during the 2018-19 season.
