Manchester United are reportedly closing in on the signing of Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan.
The Red Devils have been linked with the Argentinian, who is also believed to be a target of Manchester City, over the past few months.
Following the speculation, it appears that United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has almost secured his target, according to Portuguese newspaper Record.
The paper has decided to put the story on the front page of their publication this morning.
It has also been suggested that United will allow Brazilian full-back Fabio to join Benfica on a season-long loan agreement as part of the deal.
