Manchester United have reportedly identified Southampton defender Tino Livramento as a potential transfer target ahead of the summer transfer window.
As it stands, United are well stocked for options at right-back with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot currently competing for a regular spot in the team.
However, it is unclear whether either player will remain at Old Trafford in the long term, resulting in speculation regarding whether alternatives will be sought later in 2022.
According to Calciomercato, United are monitoring the development of Livramento, who has impressed during his first year of Premier League football.
The 19-year-old has made 21 top-flight appearances for the Saints, playing a key role in their recent move into the top half of the standings.
Regardless of United's interest, it would come as a surprise if either player or team contemplate an exit at the end of the season, particularly with Chelsea - Livramento's boyhood and former club - allegedly possessing a buy-back clause which will become active in 2023.
