Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a summer bid for Roma forward Tammy Abraham.
The England international joined Roma from Chelsea last August and has enjoyed an excellent campaign for his Italian club, scoring 23 times and registering four assists in 40 appearances in all competitions.
Abraham has 15 goals in 29 Serie A outings this term, meanwhile, including a brace against Lazio last time out.
According to Il Messaggero, Man United have been monitoring the striker's performances this season and could make a move for him during this summer's transfer window.
The report claims that Chelsea have a buy-back clause of €80m (£66.7m), although the Blues cannot activate it until next summer, which could allow the Red Devils to swoop for the forward in the upcoming market.
Abraham, who has a contract in Rome until June 2026, scored 30 times and registered 12 assists in 82 appearances for Chelsea.
Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to remain at Old Trafford this summer despite the widespread speculation surrounding his future, but Man United are still believed to be keen to add a new striker to their squad ahead of the 2022-23 campaign, with Edinson Cavani set to leave on a free transfer. body check tags ::
