Manchester United have reportedly cooled their interest in Ecuadorian starlet Moises Caicedo.
The Red Devils are thought to have been in talks with the teenager's club, Independiente del Valle, for some time as they look to strike a deal this month.
However, Caicedo - understood to be valued at €5m (£4.5m) - has reportedly garnered interest from all across the globe after starring on the domestic and international stage.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Man United have now taken a step back in their pursuit and are set to prioritise other targets despite being in control of the situation.
Romano adds that the 19-year-old's dream was to move to Old Trafford, but an intense battle is now set to commence for his signature, with Everton and AC Milan the latest clubs to be credited with an interest.
Caicedo still has just under four years left to run on his current deal with Independiente del Valle, where he has scored six goals and set up two more in 31 appearances.
