Manchester United will reportedly have to fend off interest from AC Milan if they are to secure the signature of Lens defender Facundo Medina.
The 21-year-old has been integral to Lens' hugely impressive season in Ligue 1, making 17 top-flight appearances in the heart of defence and scoring two goals along the way.
Man United are understood to have taken a liking to the Argentina international, but the Red Devils are reportedly not the only ones hoping to land the highly-rated Lens man in the summer.
According to Calciomercato, AC Milan are in the market for a replacement for Alessio Romagnoli, and Medina fits the bill in terms of what Stefano Pioli is looking for.
However, the report adds that United could soon table a first offer of £11m in an attempt to steal a march on the Italian giants, who are also rumoured to be interested in Medina's teammate Loic Bade.
Medina only joined Lens from Argentinian side CA Talleres last summer, and he is contracted to the Ligue 1 outfit until 2024.
