Manchester United are reportedly fearful that Paul Pogba will run down his contract before leaving on a free transfer next year.
The World Cup-winning Frenchman is yet to agree to an extension at Old Trafford beyond 2022, and his future has been shrouded in uncertainty for over a year now.
Pogba has become a key part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's setup since the turn of the year, and the Red Devils are supposedly determined to tie the midfielder down to a new deal.
However, The Mirror reports that United remain concerned about the prospect of Pogba seeing out the final year of his contract before being able to walk away for nothing in 12 months' time.
The report adds that United will do their best to sell the former Juventus man this year if no agreement can be reached over fresh terms, and talks with the player have hit a brick wall in recent weeks.
Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has supposedly held talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a move for his client, who was substituted after 76 minutes of France's 1-1 draw with Hungary in Saturday's Euro 2020 clash. body check tags ::
