Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana.
While David de Gea and Hugo Lloris have been the long-term number ones at their respective clubs, each stopper has received criticism over their form during the past 12 months.
According to De Telegraaf, the two Premier League giants have indicated that they are prepared to sign a replacement by opening talks with Albert Botines, the agent of Onana.
Having helped Ajax to the Champions League semi-finals last season, the 23-year-old has emerged as one of the top goalkeepers currently playing in Europe.
The Cameroon international still has two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract, although it is considered inevitable that he will eventually move to a bigger club.
