Manchester United are reportedly considering a summer move for Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz.
The 20-year-old scored 20 times in all competitions for Leverkusen during the 2018-19 campaign and has impressed again this season, netting 10 goals and registering eight assists in 34 appearances.
Liverpool continue to be linked with the Germany international, who recently revealed that he was "ready to take a big step" in his career, hinting at a summer exit.
However, according to the Evening Standard, United have placed Havertz on their summer shortlist as the 20-time English champions look for more midfield creativity.
The youngster, who has also been strongly linked with Bayern Munich, will see his current deal at the BayArena expire in the summer of 2022.
The Red Devils had allegedly identified Jack Grealish as a leading target ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, but a recent report claimed that the club are currently not actively pursuing the Aston Villa captain.
