Manchester United have reportedly added Fenerbahce forward Vedat Muqiri to their list of potential incomings before the end of the January transfer window.
As a result of Marcus Rashford being ruled out for the foreseeable future, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under pressure to bring in a new striker in the coming days.
While the likes of Luka Jovic, Odion Ighalo and Islam Slimani have all been linked with a switch to Old Trafford, Fotospor claims that United have made an approach for Muriqi.
The Kosovo international, who has scored 12 times from 18 appearances in Turkey's top flight this season, is said to welcome the interest from the Premier League giants.
However, with Fenerbahce in contention for the league title, it appears unlikely that they will allow one of their key men to leave at this stage of the campaign.
Muriqi still has three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract.
