Manchester United have reportedly joined Chelsea and Liverpool in the race to sign Leeds United winger Raphinha.
Despite the Whites struggling at the wrong end of the Premier League table, the 25-year-old has been a star performer under Marcelo Bielsa this term, scoring eight goals in 16 league appearances.
According to the Manchester Evening News, United have become the latest club to have registered their interest in signing Raphinha, who is valued in excess of £40m.
Perennial Bundesliga winners Bayern Munich are another European superpower who have a strong interest in the Brazil international, though the report adds that a move to Germany for the winger is unlikely.
United have identified Raphinha as a potential target for one of the next two transfer windows, despite recruiting Jadon Sancho for around £75m over the summer.
Raphinha, who joined Leeds for Rennes in October 2020, will see his contract at Elland Road expire in June 2024. body check tags ::
