Manchester United have reportedly been told that they would have to make an offer of €70m (£59.7m) to sign Juventus centre-back Bremer during this summer's transfer window.

The 26-year-old made the move to the Old Lady from Torino in July 2022, and he has featured on 66 occasions for the Turin giants in all competitions, scoring seven goals and registering one assist in the process.

Bremer signed a new deal with Juventus last month, with his current deal due to expire in June 2028, but there is currently speculation surrounding his future.

According to Calciomercato, Man United are huge admirers of the Brazilian, with the Red Devils keen to bring him to Old Trafford during this summer's transfer window.

The report claims that the Premier League outfit have been informed that Juventus want €70m (£59.7m) for the defender, who has been capped on three occasions by Brazil.

Bremer has been a key player for the Old Lady during the 2023-24 campaign, scoring twice in 23 Serie A appearances.

The defender started his youth career with Desportivo Brasil before making the move to Atletico Mineiro, and he went on to represent the Brazilian outfit on 33 occasions before arriving at Torino.

Bremer made 110 appearances for Torino, scoring 13 goals and registering five assists in the process, before joining Juventus in the summer of 2022.

Man United are expected to sign at least one centre-back this summer, with Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans both only having deals until the end of the campaign.

Varane is expected to be the subject of lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, while the futures of both Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof are unclear.

Lisandro Martinez will remain at Old Trafford this summer, with the Argentina international, who is available again after recovering from a second foot operation, viewed as a key player.

Man United are also said to be admirers of Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite, while Benfica's Antonio Silva and Nice's Jean-Clair Todibo are being linked with switches to the club.

There is set to be another rebuild at Old Trafford this summer under the leadership of incoming minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe, with the British billionaire set to take charge of the football department at the club. body check tags ::
