Manchester United have reportedly joined rivals Liverpool in the race to sign Napoli midfielder Jorginho.
Recent speculation had claimed that new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp had made the 23-year-old one of his major January transfer targets.
However, according to Calciomercato, the Merseysiders could now face competition from the Red Devils, who have monitored the Brazilian since the summer.
The report adds that United manager Louis van Gaal was tipped off about Jorginho's ability while the club completed a deal to sign Matteo Darmian from Torino in July.
French champions Paris Saint-Germain are also said to harbour an interest in the former Verona player.
