Manchester United and Manchester City are both reportedly considering an approach for Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets.
The 27-year-old came through the academy at Barcelona and has made more than 350 first-team appearances for the Catalan club, winning five La Liga titles and three Champions League crowns in the process.
The Spanish international is contracted to the Spanish giants until 2019 and although he recently claimed that he wants to pen a fresh contract at Camp Nou, it is understood that negotiations have stalled.
According to Sport, news of the contract wrangle has reached Man United and Man City, while Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be monitoring developments.
Barcelona, who are in the running for another treble this season, will attempt to make it 35 games unbeaten in all competitions when they travel to Rayo Vallecano in La Liga on Thursday night.
