Manchester United are reportedly not considering selling Marcus Rashford during this summer's transfer window despite the events of the last week.
Rashford was not involved in his side's FA Cup contest with League Two outfit Newport County on Sunday afternoon, with the club stating that he was unwell.
The England international did not train with the Red Devils on Friday morning, claiming that he was ill, but it later emerged that he had been pictured out in Belfast on Thursday evening at a nightclub.
According to talkSPORT, Rashford has been fined £650,000 for the nightclub saga, but he is set to be involved in Thursday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Speaking during his press conference on Wednesday, Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag said that the 26-year-old "has taken responsibility" for his actions.
Ten Hag said that the "internal matter" was now "closed", and he is likely to be with the squad for Thursday's Premier League game at Molineux.
Rashford's conduct is said to have angered his teammates, and there have been suggestions that he could leave Old Trafford this summer, with Paris Saint-Germain preparing to reignite their interest.
However, according to journalist Alex Crook, the club have no intention to sell him this summer, having handed the academy product a long-term deal last year.
Man United allegedly still view Rashford 'as an important part of their future', and Ten Hag is confident that he has a strong relationship with the player despite the events of the last week.
Rashford has found it difficult to his best form during the current season, only managing four goals and six assists in 26 appearances in all competitions.
However, he has scored in his last two Premier League appearances against Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Englishman made his debut for the Red Devils in 2015, and he has represented the club on 385 occasions in all competitions, scoring 127 goals and registering 74 assists in the process.
Rashford issued an apology to his manager earlier this season for having a birthday party hours after Man United's 3-0 loss to Manchester City in the Manchester derby.
The forward was also left out of the starting XI for a Premier League game against Wolves in the latter stages of 2022 after being late to a team meeting. body check tags ::
