Manchester United will reportedly only allow Jesse Lingard to leave on a permanent basis this summer, as West Ham United weigh up a move for the England international.
The 28-year-old spent the second half of the 2020-21 campaign on loan at the Hammers, scoring nine times and registering five assists in 16 appearances.
Lingard is now back at Old Trafford and was involved in his team's pre-season preparations but missed out on the clash with Leeds United last weekend, having tested positive for coronavirus.
West Ham are believed to be keen to re-sign the attacker, but according to the Daily Mail, Man United are not interested in loaning him out once again and instead want a permanent sale for a fee in the region of £25m.
Lingard's current deal at Old Trafford is due to expire next June, and it appears unlikely that he will be signing an extension with the 20-time English champions.
