Manchester United are reportedly prepared to sell Andreas Pereira during this summer's transfer window in order to 'make room' for Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek.
The Red Devils continue to be strongly linked with Van de Beek, and Ajax youth coach Ronald de Boer recently suggested that the English giants could pip Real Madrid to the midfielder's signature.
According to The Mirror, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been informed that he will have to sell one of his current midfielders to 'make room' for the Netherlands international.
The report claims that Pereira is the player expected to be sacrificed as the 24-year-old could find it difficult to secure regular football at Old Trafford moving forward.
The Brazil international only signed a new four-year contract last summer and has made 37 appearances in all competitions this season, but he has struggled for action since Bruno Fernandes's January arrival.
Ajax chief executive Edwin van der Sar recently confirmed that the Red Devils were interested in signing Van de Beek ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
