Manchester United are reportedly prepared to smash the transfer record for the second time in a matter of months by bringing Antoine Griezmann to Old Trafford.
The Atletico Madrid forward is said to have been identified as the Red Devils' top target for the mid-season window, as boss Jose Mourinho continues to reshape his new side.
United paid around £89m to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus earlier this summer, surpassing the fee Real Madrid splashed out to land Gareth Bale three years prior, but The Sun claims that the spending will not stop there.
Griezmann scored 32 times in 54 appearances for Atletico last season before impressing for France at Euro 2016, seeing his valuation constantly rise over the past 12 months.
It is suggested that United will have to pay a figure close to £100m if they are to sign Griezmann from the Spanish side, however, as he still has five years left to run on his current deal.
Mourinho has also brought in Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic since being appointed as United manager at the end of May.
